Anyone know what happened to this excellent cocktail lounge? This place was always my go-to getaway when I lived here. Less tourists than the Hotel. Moved out of state 6 yrs ago. Come back to visit family and this was one of my first stops. Bummed me out to see the doors locked and windows boarded. The owner sue was always friendly and even bought me a few drinks over the years. Anyone knows what happens please comment on this post! Thanks and God bless Georgetown, the gem of gold country.

Walked into the bar for the first time, looked great! Lots of locals, but some were sketchy. There were a bunch of kids with their parents (assuming parents) who walked out of the bar when we walked in. The woman behind the bar greeted us, asked what we are drinking. We told her a drink order, then out of our entire group, she asked me for ID. (Which I left in the vehicle across town on accident) so I said, I have it in the truck, can I just have a water then?
Most bartenders would say sure. She however, got really rude and said, "You can't even be in here without an ID." I said, "Did you ask those children for their ID's?" She scoffed and said, "Sorry, it's the rules." So instead of buying probably $100 worth of drinks, he decided to head to the Hotel bar/restaurant. Which gave us AWESOME service, awesome food, awesome drinks, and laughs!
I guess the rules only apply to "outsiders" and not your sister's children.

Im an out of towner who had battery issues on my bike. Your kind bartender and customers provided tools and a jump without hesitation. Great place with great people. Thanks everyone. Home safe now. See yall soon.

This is THE place to meet up with friends in Georgetown. Friendly bartenders & colorful locals. Great pool table & Karaoke nites. Pleanty of street parking. Fun establishment.

Great local bar. Not flatlander fair, unless they're cool. Anyone who's real and cool with others being real will feel welcome, and have a good drink.
