Such a cute spot to enjoy a little date night. The girls at the counter were incredibly helpful and even brought our popcorn to our seats. This little theater although seats were a bit dated it did not lack in quality and enjoyment. The tickets were cheap, we grabbed our little Dranks 🍷(not drinks 🥤 😉) and had a great time! The bathrooms were clean and they had a nice array of snack options! We will definitely be back for another movie night!!!

Wonderful little independent theater. The best part about them is their kid-friendly showings! For much of the year, they run "Moxie Mornings" every other Saturday, where they show a series of short films for kids. For free! And they aren't just silly sensory videos - these short films are the kind that can really make kids think. They take a break between each one, so it's a great way to introduce very young kids to the theaters! And there's no judgement if kids need to get wiggles out in the lobby or leave early. They also have lots of free showings of full-length kid-friendly movies, and even foreign or indie movies that don't get a wide release. Great place!

Such a cute place! I was excited to go to an independent movie theatre, I've never been to one before. I saw LEE and it was an amazing movie, props to Kate Winslet for a stellar performance. I didn't get any concessions aside from a water, but the popcorn smelled wonderful, and the water came in an actual glass. I'm probably going to become a member, they have a great lineup of films. 10/10 would recommend

This place is the absolute best!! They show movies that you would never have a chance to see in most towns the size of Springfield. The staff is fantastic, great selection of adult and kid-friendly beverages, as well as popcorn and snacks. The seats are comfy and restrooms always clean, so sit back and enjoy your flick! A real gem.

Enjoyed another great Library sponsored Film Stubs event here. The seats are comfortable, and I always take a blanket with me to a movie theater as it's usually too cold for me. But my husband loves how cold theaters run, so to each their own. This is a fun art house small theater.

The Moxie Cinema is the best place in town to see movies. The smaller theater is comfortable, the popcorn is fabulous, and their selection of movies is the best in town. While all the other theaters are showing the same handful of movies, The Moxie offers selections you can only see at their theater including documentaries, foreign and independent films, and other unique films. They also host some wide release films. The parking garage makes it possible to park without getting out into the elements and their staff are actually movie buffs who personally introduce each film. Become a member and receive discount tickets, .50¢ popcorn, and many opportunities to see movies at no cost.
