It was so great getting to work with Mandy over the past year! She captured engagement photos, wedding photos, and post-wedding photos for us and we couldn’t be happier with the results! From the beginning, Mandy was very responsive and answered all of our questions. She also helped us determine our photo locations and was very adaptable the day of the shoots. Weather up in the Eastern Sierras can be unpredictable and she was able to help us navigate this and capture such amazing photos. Mandy is a very skilled photographer and her positive energy made the shoots so much fun. We were lucky enough to get to work with Mandy on 3 separate occasions throughout this past year and would definitely love to work with her again! Couldn't recommend Mandy enough!!

Mandy has such a chill, great energy, and a wonderful eye. We had a good time taking family photos with our toddler, but I also feel like what she captured from our son looks like the "real him," especially when he's playing, laughing, and exploring. And she was so efficient and adaptable with our time limitations, even with a wedding that weekend!

Mandy was incredible!! From the start, she was very responsive and organized, and helped us scout ceremony locations for our small intimate wedding. The day of the wedding, Mandy made the photo sessions so fun and easy (and we’ve had some weird experiences) for which we were grateful, since it can be a bit awkward at times! She was able to capture each moment perfectly, and somehow capture us as a couple as well. The photographs are stunning, thanks to her unique eye and thorough knowledge of the Eastern Sierras. Mandy was our incredible wedding photographer. She brought an easy-going, kind, and loving energy to our wedding. During the planning stages she offered great advice on vendors and was prompt to respond over email and phone. She showed up early to all events, and was so professional and on top of it.
As for her photos, they truly speak for themselves. They are simply put, stunning. We were looking for a someone who could capture things beautifully with minimal editing. Mandy's photos are authentic, warm, both grand and intimate, and she really captures the moment. Her editing is perfect - she brings out the emotion of the picture without overdoing it. She is subtle and observant, and frames her shots so well. My husband and I are both avid climbers and outdoorspeople, and we felt a real connection with Mandy, both as an artist and just as person. Mandy gets it!

Mandy helped us make our dream elopement come to life! Not only did she capture the day beautifully, but she helped us plan the day to make sure our timeline went smoothly and made sense for photos/lighting. A photographer and wedding planner all in one?! Yes please! We contacted Mandy just two months before our elopement and told her we wanted to get married at an alpine lake on a 14 mile backpacking trip. A few days later Mandy hiked the 14 miles to our chosen destination to scout it out! She reported back with a timeline of exactly where the sun would be throughout the day, and exactly when it would be disappearing over the mountain on the day of our wedding. We made sure to time the ceremony for some epic sun rays! She also figured out when the Milky Way would be above us which led to some amazing Astro photos! Throughout the day Mandy captured our genuine moments with each other and our friends. We did a short photo shoot after the ceremony, but she made us feel comfortable to be ourselves, rarely posing us. Less than 24 hour after we got back from our hike she sent us our sneak peak! We were blown away by the photos. The genuine happiness she captured, the gorgeous sun rays, and our beautiful friends made the photos come to life. I think I am going to look at our photos everyday for the rest of my life. We only invited a small group of friends to our wedding, so we were originally hesitant to hire a photographer, thinking it would throw off the vibe with such a small and intimate group of friends. Thankfully we found Mandy and we knew she would fit right in! We truly loved having her as apart of our special day. Not only did she capture it perfectly but she fit in perfectly with our little group and we really enjoyed having her there. Thank you so much, Mandy!

We were lucky enough to find Mandy for our elopement in our favorite place of Mammoth Lakes! After reviewing her website we landed on Convict Lake for our ceremony and hopped over to Hot Creek as our second location. Mandy knew all the right spots and places to stand for the most amazing pictures allowing us to treasure that day for the rest of our lives! Mandy was great! She arrived to the photo session early and worked with us through to the end of our 2 hour session. My significant other and I often feel awkward while having our picture taken but Mandy was successful at helping us act natural and feel comfortable during the process. She captured the perfect lighting in the perfect setting. The end result was more than we could have asked for...beautiful maternity photos we will cherish forever!
