What an awesome place - wasn't sure what to expect from the name, but it's just the kind if warehouse I'm super into. Hear they've got lots of metal shows, and Hoodslam happens hear in the regular.

This review is specifically for HoodSlam. It happens every first Friday of the month at Oakland Metro and is the best fun ever! It's awesome for wrestling fans, and for those who have never seen live wrestling, it's even more entertaining. The multiple bars serve whatever you want and entrance is cheap! I recommend buying tickets online as the lines get really long, and the big events reach capacity. You HAVE to check this out if you find yourself in Oakland, CA. It's great frivolous fun! #hoodslam

I have been to many concerts at the Oakland Metro Opera house. For the most part laid back setting. I will get lucky and see a lot of concerts on a Monday od Tuesday (my days off). I have never seen a fight their. I haven't tried the food,a lot of good restaurants and bars are within blocks of the metro. Jack London square is close if you get their early.

Overall I have never had a bad time.

Bathroom flooded when I went. Dirty but works well for metal shows. Bars are easily accessible if you want to drink, I didn't. Great show distracted me from the warehous feel.

Good place to host events. Place is big,.it has 2 bars, stage and whole floor for admission tickets or to set tables.

It can definitely fit more than 360 ppl.

First time here, great venue! Two bars, two stages. Clean restrooms, that in itself is worth 4 stars, hello! Friendly staff from the security at the door to the ticket booth, bartenders, and merchandise sellers. All around great night.
