Loved our Desert Hot Springs stay at the Onsen Hotel. It was the perfect spot for a girls trip! My favorite parts were the helpful staff, comfortable beds, huge jacuzzi, and location. It was close enough to the Palm Springs Tramway, Pioneertown, and Pappy and Harriet’s! The breakfast was a nice addition to our stay, and the heated pool was a bonus. We were able to visit downtown Palm Springs close by too. This is our new favorite place to stay in the Palm Springs area, and we will be back.

The onsen hotel and spa is exactly what I needed and did not know. Although it does not have a restaurant on site. It does provide a lovely self serve breakfast in the morning. The property is well maintained with lovely decor. My room is perfect in size and comfort. The landscape is colorful and appealing and the temperature controlled mineral pool is refreshing. All of the personnel are welcoming and helpful. Although I personally did not have the opportunity to experience the spa services, guests that I saw and spoke with after treatments glowed and complimented the staff. This trip was healing many ways. Thank you for making this possible.

This is a wonderful, clean hotel with incredible staff and sparkling pools of gorgeous water. I appreciate the minimalistic aesthetic and the generous breakfast here. The manager Tracy goes above and beyond, even returning after her shift ended to settle a guest issue. I've stayed here several times and each experience has been excellent. Truly a great place to unwind.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft im heißen Desert Hot Springs. Der Empfang und der Service war sehr freundlich und sehr herzlich. Die Anlage und die Zimmer sind sehr schön, das Zimmer geräumig mit einem separaten Sitzbereich. Bad ist auch ausreichend groß. Es gibt einen Pool und einen Whirlpool. Zumindest im Pool ist mineralisiertes Wasser, was sehr angenehm zur Haut war. Im Zimmerpreis war ein Frühstück integriert, dass sehr nett angerichtet war. Die Omeletts sind sehr lecker! Es gibt einen kostenfreien Parkplatz. In Desert Hot Springs gibt es kein Zentrum (zumindest konnten wir keins finden), daher ist es auch schwer Angaben zur Lage zu machen. Wir waren allerdings im August dort, mit Temperaturen über 40 Grad, daher hat man eh auf einen Fußmarsch verzichtet. ?

We recently stayed at this wonderful hotel and had an exceptional experience. As pet owners, we appreciated the pet-friendly atmosphere and felt very welcomed by the hosts, Kendra and Tracy, who were incredibly accommodating to both us and our dog. The hotel has a welcoming ambiance with a modern aesthetic, which made for an enjoyable experience.

Despite the hot weather, we enjoyed swimming in the mineral pool, which was refreshing. Additionally, we signed up for a couples massage, which was incredibly relaxing and something we would happily do again.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a welcoming, pet-friendly place to stay with great amenities.

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the thermal Jacuzzi and Pool. The breakfast was average and the front desk was friendly and the room was clean and spacious in the suite. The pool area was rundown with the bushes around the pool dead and the pool furniture was worn and uncomfortable to lay flat on. The neighborhood was not the best!

The Onsen Hotel & Spa was an absolutely delightful place to stay. The rooms are clean, modern, and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The hot springs jacuzzi and pool were very soothing, especially after (and before) a long day of driving. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and responsive to our every need. I had not expected to find such a charming place when I searched for a place to enjoy a hot springs vacation, but I am glad I did. Although I live 6 hours away, I will certainly come back again.

Be aware that this area is VERY windy, and that is apparently quite typical as the Pacific air pushes through the mountain pass into the desert. It didn't detract from my enjoyment of the pool or from my sleep though.

look no further for a forever hotel in Palm Springs. me and my boyfriend stayed here for a weekend and it was just amazing. it was private and quiet, definitely amazing for couples or for people who want to get away. shoutout to all the receptionists you guys were amazing and welcoming !!
