It was good! I want to come back to try the soup, the prime roast, and the burger w the steak knife. I had the meatloaf special. It was advertised to come w green beans but came w broccoli instead which was fine since I like broccoli enough but green beans would have been preferred. It was a good value and I have another meal to eat tomorrow. The atmosphere is dive-y old skool sports bar but not shady or dirty. Good service and the patrons around me were chatty. It was a nice stop off the highway to get a bite to eat.

This place is the real deal!
Pete's has one of the best places to have a Beer and a wonderful Dining experience in San Rafael.

A place to meet a Buddy for a cold Beer and a fantastic sandwich and, or late evening Dinner and Beer with a special Lady who would actually be so very impressed with the Pete's Meatloaf. Yes, I said it!

Who knew this guy could Out cook Grannies in Cook off!!

You have to go get you some.

Do not forget about his World Renowned prime Ribe...

Who knew about this little Hole in the wall joint served up some of the best Dining in the Bay Area

Stop by and bring a friend or, that special Lady who would most certainly be impressed...

The bartenders were friendly and service oriented. It's definitely a huge plus to have bartenders that make you feel welcome to be there. The layout of the numerous wide-screen TVs is excellent. You can get a really great view from just about anywhere. The crowd vibe is definitely on the mellow side. The food is not good. Ordered the chicken wings. They were definitely overcooked. The quality of the chicken meat was very poor. Watched some other people eating pepperoni pizza, and the pizza looked like the low end pizza that is served in a high school cafeteria. Really enjoyed watching a great football game here. Overall, come here for drinks with friends and watch the games, play pool. Skip the food altogether, totally not worth it. I recommend this business

Stopped here for lunch on our way to Healdsburg. It is a true dive bar. Located on a street full of car repair shops, we were not sure we were at the right place.
Service was fast and friendly. We ordered the Texas burger with tater tots and the lumber jack burger with onion rings. Both burgers were what you would expect…..great toasted bun, and just the right amount of grease. The patty was a bit smaller than we expected but agreed the Texas Burger is the way to go.

I'm glad I found this place! Amazing food, friendly and inviting atmosphere, and the bartenders are the the BEST! I agree with the other reviews that it's in a location you wouldn't expect, but I think that adds to its charm. Definitely worth checking out!

Went by on a recommendation from a friend about the Monday night Mom's meatloaf, best meatloaf other than my mom's, I EVER had!! Also, this is my first ever review on food, so that should let you know as well, that this meatloaf don't play!
