Update: I purchased 6 gift cards for family members for Christmas because I like this place so much. Four of them experienced projector and/or sound failures and didn't get to see the entire movie. Apparently, this is a common occurrence here. The staff asked that we complain to corporate because this "happens all the time." Why invest so much in the physical theater, and not upgrade the projectors and sound equipment. Sad. I really hate to see this place fail.
Previous: Nice theater, comfy seats, current movies. Ticket prices and concessions cost less than the big chains. Great place to see a movie. We had 12 people (including 5 kids) and had a great time!

Super awesome seats. Excellent sound. The concession stand is basic but serves its purpose. A plus is the variety of beer and wine they have, though the food is overpriced as every theater is. I will be coming back simply for the comfy seats!

Really great place to see movies. Super seats and space between them to see with no ones head in front of you. Only negative was that they give kids popcorn in cute plastic buckets instead of paper ones. There is too much plastic in this world. Next time we will ask for paper.

My little cousin has a food allergy, meaning she can only eat CERTAIN foods. We brought our own popcorn and they wouldn’t let us. We ended up having a terrible experience because we can’t even enjoy the movie with this happening! It is entirely out of her control, it is not her fault at all she has a food allergy, and now places like these make people feel like crap. These places need to include everyone, if you won’t let us bring popcorn that we can ACTUALLY eat, then make popcorn that includes everyone! I hope you are happy you ruined a little girls day.

SOOOOO BAD!!!!! Awful, appalling customer service..Male Employee yelled at me who is a very pregnant woman, other customers trying to help me, and scared the crap out of my 4 year old daughter bringing her to tears.
Got to the movie early to get food with my 4 year old daughter. We were so excited for wicked. After waiting TWENTY mins for my food, I asked if my pretzel bites were still coming and a female employee assured me they were on the way...Then, a couple mins later I watched as she exited the room where the oven was, pretzel bites in hand, and literally give my order away to someone who had just ordered them at the counter...After confronting them, the employee proceeded to just microwave my food and handed it to me, no apology whatsoever. This made us late for our movie and miss the whole beginning..Yes, We ate SOME of the pretzel bites...I was trying to make do. my 4 year old was very hungry, and I am pregnant...so yeah I was very hungry as well...but the food was ice cold, hard and so gross so we stopped eating it. Obviously I wanted to speak to a manger after the movie finished but after the movie let out, A male employee who was incredibly rude and dismissive from the get go, proceeded to say to me there was nothing he could do and the GM (who he told me wasn't even there) said no to a refund. He was yelling very loudly at me and other customers that I didn't even know but who tried to help me because of his disgusting behavior...all in front of my young child. He refused to call the manager who was actually there and proceeded to yell at me that he was busy and so was she. We used to love placerville cinema and supporting local, but I don't know, this was really really disgusting. Absolutely
Appalling behavior, Condescending, rude and dismissive. I cannot believe this is how we were treated especially being pregnant and with a young child. Placerville Cinema, DO BETTER.
