This is a Drive In Theater in my home town, now owned by my best friend from childhood, through life, til now. Drive-Ins are getting rare. They're sometimes more trouble than they are worth. But I've seen for myself why my friend continues to take extraordinary care of the place. I've seen the reason that he continues a tradition that corporate theater chains long ago discarded. It's the people. One evening while the sky was still too bright to start the movie, my friend led me to one side of the screen then turned to look up the slope and the vision of cars streaming in, friendly honks and and waves as they found their places. Since the spaces are no longer defined by the posts with the clunky low-fi speakers that weighed pounds (the movie now coming to patrons via very high fidelity FM radio), one could expect disputes but overall people are friendly and cheerful, excited to see and be seen. He said to me "THIS is why I do this". He loves keeping the tradition alive. He is providing a fun, safe form of entertainment for the community. But the reason they are rare is they have to pay their way. So if you want to keep this tradition alive, if you want to share this slice of Americana with your kids, support our last few examples. See a show at the tower drive in in Poteau, Oklahoma. Make a night of it. Heck, make it your vacation. You will have fun.

I haven’t been here in over 15 years as a kid. It was so nostalgic heading there.

It was nice to get to see the 2nd weekend open for the double feature with Godzilla xKong and Dunes 2.

Concession: We opted for a hot dog (boiled but still delicious)and a burger with cheese fries. The burgers are soooo fricken good and actually grilled. The prices are affordable/reasonable for food. A combo could be nice for popcorn and drink but I felt everything was reasonable.

We opted for the full size blow up mattress and pillows but you can always bring chairs or blankets too.

Recommend sitting next to the speakers to avoid needing your own car on. The spot we picked was perfect!

This was alot of fun! Even in hot weather the sun went down and there was shade in most of the parking. That helped to cool off quicker as it got dark. The sound was incredible especially with the radio station. (Bring your portable radio) we had a great time ?

It’s AMAZING they take cash and debit card and the concession stand prices are great I highly recommend this if you have nothing to do and want something to do

Had an absolutely amazing experience!! The food is amazing, with good pricing. You can hear the movie throughout the entire lot. Everyone was super friendly, it was a great atmosphere!!

Great theatre to go to. They have a full concession on the weekends and partial concession when they are open during the week. Huge screen, loud speakers, and plenty of room to stretch out in your lawn chairs. Big open area for kids to run and play down by the screen. Cost is $7 for adults, and $4 for kids 11 and under. The cost includes a double feature on the weekends, and you can check what is playing on their website or their Facebook before attending.
