We always come here to avoid the types of theaters in bigger cities that have higher prices and assigned seating. Well for the first time ever since I started coming here in 1995, the seats are now assigned and I was put on the spot to choose. We ended up getting stuck behind two tall people in even taller santa clause hats who chose their seats in front of us and my 8 year old son and I had to watch their heads the entire movie...while the person behind me chomped food in my ear with their mouth open...since the seating was assigned and we couldn't move. I could understand if we were in Murfreesboro AMC theater, but for a very dated standard theater, it cost us $70 for 1 adult ticket, 1 child ticket, 1 box of candy, shared popcorn and a shared drink. Guess it's time to start going to the movies in McMinnville where its MUCH cheaper and the prices match the setting.

I was expecting this place to be much nicer considering a matinee ticket was almost $17. Seating was pretty uncomfortable and isn't stadium, speakers kept crackling, and you could hear the sound of the neighboring theatres through the walls. I live in a tourist trap town and pay significantly less for a much better experience. This place should either lower prices or put some money into the building.

My husband and I went to the matinee on Saturday and it was a bit pricey but we wanted to see the new Beetlejuice Beetlejuice movie. The seats in the theater were comfy and it was pretty decent. We had to sit in assigned seats which was ok too. We sat by these noisy kids that was eating corn nuts or something like it and people just kept getting up and down. Don't go there during the day. Seems like there's more people that go in the day than at night.

The movie experience was decent until halfway through the movie when we could start hearing explosions and gunfire through the wall from the theater next to us. I also noticed that there were very many ceiling panels missing in the theater which gave a very derelict atmosphere

Movie was great. I stood at the food counter for 10 minutes before a young lady waited on me. She was not very nice. I asked if she would wait on me. Ordered butter popcorn, no butter!

The theater is definitely old and run down.
The movie releases are limited here and most new movies are never aired. I am about to cancel my subscription because I am tired of going to the AMC in Murfreesboro to have more options to see.

Only half of the items in the women’s restroom operate, the theater seats are super uncomfortable and ancient. And the theater rooms themselves are not soundproof, so you can hear everything going on in the theater next door. The associates working have always been polite, so that adds to the charm though. It’s a shame to have to pay the same price as the “fancier” theater in Nashville.
