Ball to start off, I'm greeted when I enter. I'm seated within 30 seconds, not because they weren't busy, but because their service is that good with a minute of sitting down. I had my drink in a menu in front of me. I started off with some gumbo, which was to die for The only gumbo i've had that resembled anything close to what I eat when I visit Nola. I kept it simple and got a bacon. Cheeseburger and fries, which I was pleasantly surprised it was real beef, not some frozen Patty. The cheese was dewy. The bun was well toasted vegetables were fresh. The lightly seasoned tomato really kicked it off the fries. Or picture perfect? Crunchy on the outside gooey on the inside, I then tried their bread pudding now anytime I visit the south. I always get bread pudding no matter the restaurant. Because I'm searching for that perfect bread pudding. This bread pudding was amazing. The bits of fresh peaches. It's combined with the moist and sweet bread was absolutely amazing.
If you're in the area, this is a one-stop shop. You can get a great meal at a great price. And I would recommend this to anybody. I just hope that as they get bigger and they grow, they don't sacrifice the quality of their food because this food was perfect..

The food was good. Crab claws were pretty small but tasted fine.

I spotted this place up on the hill and turned around to come back and give it a whirl. Very cool rustic atmosphere, I was seated promptly even during lunch and my hostess and waitress were friendly. My drink order was taken and my sweet tea was brought quickly. The tea had a decent tea flavor, but could have been a little stronger. I ordered the red beans and rice that came with bread and smoked sausage. All I can say is WOW, it was delicious and they brought A LOT, I surely didn't leave hungry. The red beans and rice had plenty of salt and a great spicy flavor, but not enough to harm your taste buds if your sensitive to spicy things. I also tried Rick's special hot sauce which was excellent also. I give this place two thumbs up. Stop in and give them a try if your around.

We decided to give this place a try tonight, even though the reviews stated poor service we figured the issues may have been resolved. Well, they haven't been. I watched and realized that there was only 1 hostess, 1 busser and only 3 servers for the whole restaurant! We were seated promptly, however it was about 15 minutes for our server to greet us and take our drink order. Another 15 for our "sweet tea" (it was unsweet) to be delivered and have our order taken. We ordered the fried pickles for an appetizer, they were delivered in approximately 30 minutes, our server never refilled our drinks even when i placed both empty glasses at the edge of our table. I ordered the prime rib medium with twice baked potatoes and broccoli. It was mediocre at best, certainly not the best prime rib. Our dinner from entry to exit was about 2.5 hours, food was blah, and service was the biggest downfall. They should seriously hire more staff especially on race weekend!!!!

Stopped at Rick's Crossroads on our way home from Gadsden and we were not disappointed....in the food! Wife had the ribeye steak and it was done to perfection and I had the CAB hamburger steak and it was so good! We are never dissatisfied with our meal at Rick's. I will say tho, for the first time, we WERE disappointed with our server. Shelly did ok taking our order, got everything right, but after a runner brought us our dishes we never saw Shelly again...until it was time to pay. I had one drink, was never asked if I wanted another. My wife had a soda, drank it, and it sat empty on the table and was never asked if she wanted a refill. We are usually satisfied with our server. This time was not so good.

The food was delicious! They were extremely busy which I'm going to say due to race but the service was cool, she kinda was all over and forgot about us a time or 2 but she kept checking on is when she could. My 1st time there but definitely not my last!

Food was great but service was awful. I have worked in restaurants and can usually let things slide but it was inexcusable. No refills never got salads or sauces. Waitress was quite rude when I asked for refills and cut me off from speaking. This place wasn’t even terribly busy she had four tables max. For a 150 check for four people I would expect so much more.
