Love this hotel restaurant. We visit it so often for weekend brunch and stop by spontaneously for dinner as well. The staff are friendly and are generally quick. I love their Jazz night on Friday, which is a great opportunity for couples and friends to grab drinks together and chill. Their breakfast sandwich is so yummy.

Good solid basic hotel bar. The beer selection was extraordinary. Great cocktails too. Good for sharing and oh people watching too, like the business traveler types and a few locals.
Free Parking for 3 hours. Go, enjoy!

Bar choices and mixologists behind the bar are great! Very friendly, professional,and know their craft. The waiter at our table was a little lost. We had to remind him a few times about orders, drinks, etc. Very cozy outside area. Live music is a great addition to Friday and Saturday nights. Food is good, it's not mind blowing but it's very good. Simple menu to cater for different tastes. I wish they would have at least one steak cut available. That would definitely complete the menu.

We attended the 2024 Roaring 20s dinner, and I must say it was a fantastic setup. It wasn’t cheesy and was very well-organized. The photo booth was a fun and thoughtful addition.

The service provided by Anna was exceptional—truly beyond excellent. The three-course meal was fairly priced, and everything was delicious, except for the prime rib, which fell a bit short. It was oversalted, likely due to brining before roasting, as even the inside was excessively salty. While it was still a quality cut of meat, it would have been better seasoned only on the outside.

The cocktails were, as always, excellent. Thank you for a great evening!

The food was quite good, though it could use a bit more seasoning, particularly salt. The ingredients were very fresh, and the presentation of the dishes was visually appealing.

Seared tuna: 7.5/10
The tuna was slightly overcooked, but overall, it was a good dish. The flavors were pleasant, though not exceptional.

Babaganoush: 7.5/10
The presentation of the babaganoush was impressive, with a generous serving of fresh vegetables. However, it could benefit from a little more salt to enhance the flavor.

Brussels Sprouts: 7.5/10
This was a simple but enjoyable dish. The onions on top added a nice touch that complemented the Brussels sprouts well.

Caesar Salad with Grilled Shrimps: 8/10
This was the standout dish of the meal. The jumbo shrimps were excellent, cooked perfectly, and added great flavor to the salad.

Cheese and Charcuterie: 7/10
The selection of cheeses was nice, offering a good mix of flavors. It was a solid dish, though nothing particularly extraordinary.

I recently attended an event at The Ameswell Hotel, and it was nothing short of fantastic! The food was artisanally crafted with attention to detail, and the drinks were impeccable—especially the wine selection in the airstream, which would impress any wine enthusiast. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the outdoor space was both beautiful and perfect for socializing. They seamlessly hosted over 150 guests for our group, and everyone was thoroughly impressed with the venue. We’re all excited to return! I highly recommend The Ameswell Hotel and its restaurant/bar for any size gathering—it’s the perfect spot!

The worst New Year’s Eve dinner in my life!
After 10 days traveling around California we only wanted to have a nice family dinner for New Year’s without getting out of the hotel, but after all the restaurants we have been to this one was definitely the worst experience. We got a super small table for my husband, our son, and I. My husband asked for a wine, but the waitress just came with an open bottle and placed it on the table. Instead of opening it in front of us, letting us taste it, and serving it, we had to do it all ourselves. When my husband asked about the menu they had for New Year’s the waitress didn’t even know how it worked and couldn’t explain it to us, so we just ordered a shrimp cocktail for an appetizer that we didn’t know would be just 3 shrimp with an spoon of tomato sauce, medium rare prime ribs, and some upside down cake for dessert. She never asked if we wanted any sides or something else with our steak, so our big surprise was two plates of just raw looking slices, no silverware, no extra plates, and no napkins. We had to ask someone else for these, so when the silverware came my stake was already cold. When the waitress finally came 10-15 minutes later where we finally got to ask and clarify about sides. The cherry on the cake was that the dessert never came and seemed like the waitress forgot about us, so we just decided to ask for the check, finish our bottle of wine and leave after paying $200 dollars for a horrible dinner.
Overall, the restaurant is beautiful, the atmosphere was great, and they had life music, so that was all 10/10… but the food was mediocre and the service was poor.

This is the perfect choice for a relaxing brunch. It's very private because it's linked to a Ameswell Hotel. Above all, it was convenient because there was a parking building. It's even free for 3 o'clock. Eggbenedict is perfect for those who want pretty good and very strong coffee. I'm going to visit in the evening next time.
I highly recommend it for business meetings because it's quiet and private without staying at a hotel.
