It was my first time going to a kava bar and I got recommended by my lady to pick up some kava shots for her. I happened to be in the area so it was convenient to stop by. When I came in, the bartenders were very welcoming and wanted to really make sure I had a good experience for my first time trying kava. Got the orange dreamsicle and it was a great first drink since I've heard that it had less kava (found out that it had 50% less than their strongest drink) in it than the usual amount mixed in other drinks. The atmosphere of the bar is very relaxed and it felt extremely comfortable. I also found out that if I was trying kava for the first time, my tolerance for it would be high so I probably wouldn't feel the effects. Just a heads up for those who have never tried it before.

I sat at the bar and waited but the bartenders only helped people who were standing in line at the register as if i wasnt sitting at the bar waiting. So after seeing them help everyone who was in line and helping people who walked in after me. I just got in the back of the line after 5 people who arrived after me and then was helped. After that they started serving me at the bar. It was surprisingly delicious though. Nice dark chill atmosphere and definitely unique. I'll be back.

Horrible experience. Wouldn’t allow me to finish my drink because my 25 year old fiancé didn’t have her ID on her, and didn’t refund us when he decided to pour out my drink. Mind you my fiancé wasn’t even having anything to drink. 1 out of 10 experience. Also super expensive

I used to hold this establishment in high regard due to its excellent staff and management. However, recent changes in their policies and practices have been deeply disappointing. Customers are now being banned for trivial or unjustified reasons. For instance, I was prohibited from returning simply for having a brief, 10-minute conversation with someone who had been banned four years ago, and this took place 50 feet away from the entrance.

Over the past three years, I have spent approximately $20,000 at this business and built positive relationships with both their employees and regular patrons. Despite this, their actions have demonstrated a glaring disregard for loyal customers. If you value being treated with respect and fairness, I strongly advise against patronizing this establishment.

The staff is very unprofessional! I was informed by security that I was banned from this establishment for life and upon requesting a reason I was informed that he did not know and that it came directly from Johnny in management. So I requested to speak with management and I was then yelled at and told that management wasn’t on shift and that I needed to leave before the police were called so I went to leave and as I was walking to my vehicle I was harassed by two security guards who were very dirty looking! yelling profanities as I drove away still unaware of the reason for being banned this is discrimination at its finest and should not be tolerated

I’ve originally been going to this location and started going to Roseville. I wasn’t a fan of the management and most of the workers’ attitude but I started coming here regularly under the new management. Johnny is a solid guy and made Rancho a great location again.

Roseville has their rules due to the city which makes the location more of a grab and go to me, but Rancho is nothing but freedom with no rules and can actually socialize outside.

horrible staff and management. was lied to by staff then told i was banned for 2 days, i come back a week later and told im still banned then when i stopped by to use the bathroom and get some water i was harassed and assaulted by the security gaurd who grabbed my wrist then shoved me outside. cops were called and legal papers are on the way. security is very aggressive and management was terrible at handling the issue when i had clearly stated all i wanted was to resolve this and know why i was being treated this way.
