When I first walked in, you can tell that reptiles are well taken care of and look very healthy! This was my sign to adopt here! They have a great selection of reptiles!!!

Brittany guided us and educated us on the care for our new family memeber! She is so knowledgeable and very informative!

We recently adopted an adult bearded dragon . We are first time reptile owner . We noticed one day , our beardie kept hiding out in his cold side for a few days. He wasn’t his perky stuff . We were recommended to check out this place first before taking him to a vet.
Unknowingly when we adopted our beardie , we were given the wrong uvb lighting and incorrect basking heating light .
Brittany came to the rescue and helped us buy the correct uvb lighting and the correct temp heat lighting . We brought a few more climbing log .
Within a few days , our beardie ventured out and basking on new log. He’s one happy camper and enjoying the uvb lighting. .

I have purchased several reptiles at this location, including the feed. I have no complaints. I have been to several feeders in town and by far I love the convenience and the product. To be honest, it is beneficial to go to a small store as opposed to a chain because of the knowledge you gain. The owner has helped me learn more and more about the reptiles, their habitat and their nutrition. Despite sometimes googling and YouTubing, first hand knowledge always carries value. Highly recommend this spot.

Great family owned business, will take care of you. Sells healthy feeders for pets. Pricing is very competitive. Highly recommend. It’s my go to spot in San Diego. Brittany is very knowledgeable on the questions I had, and so is her staff. Great selection on snakes, turtles, and lizards! Whenever I need to add to reptile collection, I’ll go here!

The BEST reptile shop in San Diego. Don’t even bother with the others. San Diego Reptile Co is family run, women owned which is super important to me. The store itself is clean and tidy with an amazing selection. All animals look well loved and their enclosures are spotless. Owner is SO knowledgeable and will ensure you are completely prepared to care for your new best friend. So glad this place exists, or I don’t know where I’d get my supplies and feeders! I always look forward to stopping in to see what’s new. A+++

Awesome shop!! Family owned and operated and the atmosphere to match. The shop itself is clean , organized and well put together. The animals and enclosures are clean and very well kept, and the place seems to lack the foul odors that alot of shops have 🤮. Brittany the owner is not only extremely knowledgeable and personable but also willing to take the time to share it and be sure you are confident with your new critter before you even leave her shop. Nothing but great things to say about this place. My dream reptile has been a b&w tegu baby but have been unable to source one locally. Kept getting try back in 6 months ....or you can just order one online blah blah . I asked just out of curiosity and she replied "let me check the list of whats available give me a minute". Her supplier not only happened to have them but also had pictures and I was able to pick the one I wanted!! Animal came in timely and absolutely perfect.The best experience and service I have ever had at a reptile shop. Thanks for making this herpers dream a reality San Diego Reptile co. I recently purchased my first reg ball python from this store. The owner was amazing and helped me with my whole set up!! She went over all the information I needed to know on how to care for my snake, and set me up with everything I needed.

My snake is thriving and is as happy as can be!! I followed all her advice, and I am becoming a confident snake mom. They take very good care of their reptiles and have everything you need for your set up.
