I can’t recommend School of Dance and Music enough! My three daughters have taken ballet, tap, and jazz here, starting as young as 2, and they absolutely love it. The instructors are outstanding—skilled, patient, and great at understanding kids. If one teaching style doesn’t click, there’s always another instructor who will fit your child’s personality.

The school makes dance exciting while also fostering confidence, discipline, and creativity. The performances are beautifully done, with stunning costumes and thoughtful gifts like wands and stuffed animals that make the experience extra special. They also give back by helping kids in need access dancewear, which shows how much they care about the community.

I can’t wait for my daughters to try the hip-hop and piano classes next! If you're looking for a dance school that nurtures talent in a kind and supportive environment, this is the place to be.

We couldn’t be happier with our decision to enroll our 7-year-old daughter in the Ballet & Jazz class at the School of Dance & Music! From the very start, the team was incredibly helpful, answering all our questions about class sizes, costs, and the curriculum. They made sure we had all the information we needed to make an informed decision, which we really appreciated.
Since joining, our daughter has had an amazing experience. She feels included, supported, and most importantly, has a lot of fun in every class. This school is great! My 4 year old daughter takes ballet and my 5year old son takes hip hop jr. and both are enjoying the classes a lot. They are having lots of fun while working up a nice little sweat and learning dance terminology.

Both my girls love this dance school and have been taking classes here for that past 10 years. Dance teachers and front desk are awesome and we have had a great experience with this school. The girls spend most evenings during the week out here and it has become their home away from home. Ballet and Jazz teachers have great credentials and are very professional and caring. We go to the Hermosa and Redondo location which has ample parking and good size studios.

My daughter has bien taking lessons here for over a year. We moved from another country, and my daughter was really shy. however, the teachers were really patience with her; the teachers always keep the students motivate it and pushed them for more. Everyone is very positive.The front desk is very helpful scheduling make ups, and registering her into proper classes. The school is very organized and clean. the end of the year recital is amazing ! All my family had great experience and loved it. They have 3 locations, and plenty of classes to choose from, so when we missed it's easy to schedule make ups at any location.

My daughter and all of her friends all love School of Dance and Music. She’s been taking classes there for seven years and it has become her second home. They all take several hours a week and are OBSESSED with dance! My daughter wants to give a shout out to Miss Paisley who has been her hip hop, jazz and ballet teacher since she was a peanut.
