Caught the last showing of the season, the one for Christmas. They showed How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Frosty the Snowman. Santa came around waving at everyone and helpers passed out bags of candy. Despite some technical difficulties at the beginning, the movies were great. My own con about this visit were there were no lids for the sodas, which made carrying them back to the car very daunting!

We love Skyview! Bring lawn chairs or sit in your trunk, bring your own food and drinks and enjoy. They do have food and drinks there also. You need a radio which was hard to find for us the first time but now we have our set up. They put on events and ask for opinions on movies to show. Great for a date or family night!

SkyView is a fun place to see a movie. Bring your own chairs, snacks, and creature comforts. They do sell concessions (fries, popcorn, burgers, nachos, candy, sodas) but I love that you can bring your own food and drinks (grab some carryout on your way over). The only two downsides are (1) that this place is in Belleville and Google Maps for whatever forsaken reason *only* provides driving directions from STL that takes you on a scenic route through East St. Louis side streets and (2) the sound system has issues. Their website says there's no side speakers so bring your own radio. But they play audio. And sometimes the radio is delayed from their audio. So it becomes very disorienting when there's 4 radios and a big speaker all playing audio at slightly different times. Honestly, I would prefer the venue just play the audio louder from their speaker. It's okay it's not crystal clear as long as it's heard. Overall, a fabulous experience and I am sad I waited 31 years to visit.

If you turn and head down a rocky road and think you have headed the wrong way be assured that you have not. Follow the signs and once you arrive at the gate they will give you directions on where to park. YOU ALSO WOULD WANT TO GET Am Fm radio. We didn't realize this the first time but thankfully everyone around you will be broadcasting it🤣
Sometimes you get lucky and they have a NICE set of speakers so 🤷🏼‍♀️ do with that as you want but to insure you do get to hear it hook yourself up with the radio. They will point you in the right direction from there on where you can park. I personally haven't found a "bad" parking spot to have. So far we have always been able to see the screen no matter where we park. We even came during the previews and still had a good parking spot.

They have food and drinks. You are ALSO welcome to bring your own snacks. This place is one in a million in my books & I'm so glad to have it around. Definitely something everyone should check out. We will definitely be a customer from now on. They are way better then the chain movie theater if you ask me.
I can't wait to see Beetlejuice here! 🥰 Also if you have a truck you can sit in the back of it... I mean come on men... This is every ladies idea of a dang good date night 🤣

We had a lot of fun enjoying the outdoors and for the price 2 movies. We brought our own cooler of drinks and snacks. They have a little playground for the little kids which helps to keep them entertained. We will be back.

This was a really great experience! The people were very friendly and respectful. The movie screen was so clear and big! Radio station never had static. This was a great experience that I had with my friend and my sister and I will definitely come back!

Great drive in well maintained, and staff is excellent. Good movie selections and takes you back to the seventies vibe with the playground and a few quick cartoons of road runner and coyote. Highly recommend for a date night or trip with kids. It's definitely more reasonable than the movie theater.
