Definitely a gem of a bar/restaurant in Goodwater! First time visit and we will definitely be back! Best wings we have found! They were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside with the perfect amount of sauce and served with Texas Toast that was toasted just right. We also tried a Cheeseburger with onion rings, and a Philly Cheese Steak with fries (crinkle cut). Everything was excellent and seasoned perfectly.

They also have a full bar for those that would like an adult beverage. ?

The staff was very friendly and attentive throughout the meal. We got a chance to speak with the owner, when he came by to see how everything was, and he's so down to earth -- a real people person.

If you're ever in, or near, Goodwater, AL you have got to give Sports Grille 9 a try!

What an amazing little gem! I had an impromptu night at Sports Grille 9 last night and it was perfect from the drinks to the food (and everything in between). We started with the lemon pepper wings and onion rings - DELICIOUS! Several of us shared small bites and a full bar of cocktails? “The Strong island” iced teas are 5 stars. The atmosphere is laid back and comfy and you never meet a stranger. It truly makes you feel like you are at home. Awesome decor with a very friendly owner and staff. This is a true gem for Goodwater!

The Food is absolutely delicious. I'm from PA, and I've been searching for an authentic Philly Cheese Steak. This place makes the best! They are full of meat....onions, green peppers, flavorful, and taste authentic. Chef's kiss!

Sports grille is very nice and friendly atmosphere. I've been knowing owner Edmond Strong, for many years. He comes from a very nice, pleasant, respectful and delightful family. May God continue to bless him and his establishment.

Comparable to any restaurant in Auburn, Birmingham and in between! Great service, great cook, great bartender, great atmosphere. Will return and bring friends! Owner is humble, gratuitous and has established a true diamond in the city of Goodwater. So glad we visited! Taste and see!

Great place very nice people we were just trying to get out of the pouring rain on a motorcycle but ended up having lunch it was great food was amazing
