Located inside the Beacon Grand Hotel. They use to have a dance floor however with the very nice remodeled space it no longer exists. You still get great service and views. A very nice place to sit relax and enjoy some great cocktails. I say check it out.

The Starlite room is worth going to see! The decor and vibes are immaculate. You need a reservation on a weekend, place was packed. The service was friendly. Drinks were good, a little pricey but to be expected. If someone is visiting from out of town, this is a good place to bring them.

Great service, great ambiance, great cocktails! We got the Strawberry grasshopper & Tulip martini, both unique and flavorful. Loved the city view & ambiance as well, will definitely be back!

They are trying to get this place on the map. We had the heirloom tomatoes (needed bread), oysters, and lamb shank. I am hugely affected by music. And, Unfortunately, I'm over the sad, breathy women performers. Maybe in the shadow of the election, I needed something more upbeat. The food was decent, but all of it needed a little salt. Service was lovely. The space is beautiful. We had to change tables because the chairs were too low compared to the booth. Felt like i was about to lecture my colleagues. Lol.

This bar is great as it offers a nice view of the union square below with good food and excellent cocktails that are famously created in SF. The menu even has the story behind each one of their drinks. The venue is nice with mid-century classic decors and a bit of Asian theme. The food is good, but a bit pricy. It doesn't take much to rack up the charges as it automatically includes the 20% service charges in the bill.

Very disappointed. Went there on a Saturday night. Staff is totally incompetent and rude. First I asked for a table, no one was free but the lady at the entrance suggested we wait at the bar. Fine. Except that 1) no one was at the bar and 2) they never gave us a table. We ended up having a drink standing up. Second I ordered the drink. Got a margarita and a Baghdad. The waiter provided us with the drink - they are correct and priced fairly for the place - but never came back to us with the bill. I had to ask to pay and they wanted to charge something different from my order !!! Look like they charged my drinks to someone else’s tab (poor guy). I finally managed to pay after asking 3 times, they charged me 20% service for this scam without even asking. This place is beautiful, the drinks are average. The service is the worst I have seen in San Francisco in 7 years living here.

Hate to give it a three star, but the service is inconsistent. Amazing decor, great music, and wonderful cocktails. The problem - auto 20% gratuity and the waiter did not refill our waters once nor did he bring napkins or cutlery for our food, after promising he would. I went to the bathroom myself to get the group ‘napkins’. After he dropped the food he didn’t come back once until the bill.

This was our second time and the service was marginally better the first time around, despite it being much less busy this time.

So, go it’s a good time, but don’t expect a wonderful service experience.
