They gave us a room where the mattress was not comfortable and you could feel the springs in it. Later, they very kindly changed our room for another one but in this one the heating did not work. The service and attention is good; but make sure to check those two important things in a hotel.

Our hotel was facing the river/canal. It was very peaceful and we saw many birds and seagulls and enjoyed morning and evening views from our patio. The location is good. Very close to glass beach and a short 2min drive into downtown fort Bragg. The office closes at night but it has coffee tea and some treats.

Stayed 1 night August 23rd. The room was large, clean and smelled good. Shower was a large walk-in shower with a nice sliding glass door. Judy at the front desk was friendly and recommended a few restaurants when we arrived. The best was Davids for breakfast, you must go there, great food and very friendly people.

The one thing I didn't expect was no air conditioning in the room. Being from Arkansas I don't experience this. But on the coast, even in August, it is much cooler. Being on the ground floor we did not want to keep windows open while we were out or while sleeping, plus it was raining. They do provide fans in the rooms to help, and I love a box fan to sleep with. We slept very well, bed was comfortable.

Everything in the town closes by 9 so be prepared for that.

Our room was clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the view was excellent. Close to everything we wanted to experience in fort bragg. Customer service was great we felt comfortable and welcome. Awesome stay!

Love it! Perfectly placed, friendly service, and clean moderately priced amenities.And pet friendly. Only 24 steps to the ice machine! We had a multiple night stay during a busy weekend and were pleased to call this hotel home. Best buy for comfort. Only suggestion would be to expand parking.

We splurged for the Owner's Suite and loved it. Nice and quiet at night. We loved the private hot tub on the deck. There was also a BBQ and plenty of room to dine in. The WiFi seemed good.

Stayed 8/15-8/16, in the 500 building. Location off main street, which makes it accessible but noisy, but insulation okay, able to sleep. Room smell like urine, turns out that there are rodents going through the HVAC which kept us up and made it hard to fall back asleep. Most likely the reason why the room smells like urine. Multimedia center needing to be reset every 10 minutes or so, a combination of using buttons on the remote or just hard reset turning on and off by pulling the plug. Not the staff's fault, but they seem ambivalent. Should have just stayed in a tent at one of the campsites nearby.
