The perfect venue for our chill, small wedding reception! Super affordable, food and drink were great...and karaoke was *included* ! (Karaoke was a must for me and my partner at our reception. 😊) So happy we found this place!

I cannot thank Johnny and Michael enough for hosting an incredible surprise birthday party for my wife! I would highly recommend their bar and service for everything from a chill afternoon beer to fancy cocktails late night to hosting awesome private events like ours! It was so easy to reach out, figure out dates, logistics, and Michael and co were helpful every step of the way. Johnny is a fantastic, welcoming bartender who took some incredible photos of our crew at the party which were appreciated! We've lived in PB for 8 years, and had our wedding afterparty at Barrel Republic with Taproom PB pizza in 2019. We were so bummed when Barrel Republic closed, but were stoked to hear Taproom was opening this bar. We're even more thrilled now that we've made another special memory at this cozy, rad spot. It’s also clutch that you can easily order food from Taproom PB next door! Cheers to the team at The Collective Bar!

Such a fun experience for my 30th birthday!! Everything from the food to the drinks was top notch. Aries was the bartender for my event and made the entire night awesome!! He was super accommodating, and the drinks were fantastic! If you are looking for somewhere to have a private party, this is your place! Thank you again Michael & Aries for a night full of memories!

A warning to fellow event coordinators, The Collective will be happy to cancel your reservation last-minute in favor of later bookings that will net them more money. We had an event scheduled more than one month in advance – I was notified by Michael 3 days prior to the event that it was cancelled in favor of another event because my event would not produce as much revenue for them. Always beware of working with venues that have low integrity.

My family and I were visiting from overseas. We were all impressed by the warm hospitality and great service that the staff shared with us. We had some finger foods and drinks while enjoying the Open Mic hosted by Jeremy, "Miller Time". And we were very impressed by painter Krystal's Live Art while amazing local SD musicians were rockin' the stage. That definitely added to the fantastic wooden ambiance of the bar. While we were there, we got to catch the touring electro pop artist, "Finest Summer'. =)

We’ve been going to Taproom for years and when The Collective opened we were happy to visit a bar owned by Tap. What we did not know was how much we would love this new bar! The manager, Mike, is so friendly and welcoming. And the bartender, Johnny, is one I can now call family and a MASTER at making the best drinks! I coordinated my friend’s wedding reception here and they have been nothing but amazing! I will forever be grateful to all of the staff at The Collective for making this day the best day ever! And Taproom catering is the cherry on top! We love you all and can’t wait to celebrate your grand opening next weekend!

Really cool spot you wouldn’t expect to have in PB! Mixed drinks are very aesthetically pleasing and overall a very cool spot for a date night, happy hour or game night out.

This is a small, yet adequate (space) that serves as a very welcoming , low key from the exterior, but vibes with good life inside, place for musicians of ALL KINDS , anybody really- I happened to go there for their open mic night, a friend and I arrived at 730 pm onthursday (open mic nite) because that's when ppl who want to participate can begin signing up, HOWEVER, I'm guessing the line you'd be getting in to sign up must start forming when the place opens, at 6pm, because our spots were to be past midnight! Anyway, I had a great time listening/watching musical artists from about every walk , age, gender, etc of life perform their talents. Very awesome vibe throughout the place, from the other musicians, the ppl who work there, and all who were there to just visit and watch. So Chill, no bad vibes, no rudeness, just- very cool, comfortable place for a musician to share amoung. Highly recommend, but if you want a good slot on the mic, get there at 6pm!
