Thank you Lauren + Dreamland for hosting our private cast/crew preview of our newest short film. This is a great spot that will make you feel right at home without even trying. Perfect in every way. I'm not a film buff but I'm married to one, and going to movies here is really delightful. The owners are kind and care about providing a good experience, the popcorn is delicious, and they're always playing something interesting or quirky (or both).

LOVE the Dreamland! I wasn't much of a movie-goer until I learned about this theatre but the variety of movies and overall experience of seeing a movie here has turned me into one.
Great staff, programming, and the sound quality is fantastic. I'm always recommending it to anyone who will listen!

LOVE THIS SPOT. Been here a handful of times: Deep Red, $5 Mystery Movie, Heathers... always a great time. Super cool and friendly owners. Grab a cold drink and a salty popcorn and enjoy a movie with friends while supporting a local business!

Cool spot! Excellent film selections that can be scoped out on their IG page. It's definitely a more intimate movie experience with approx 25 seats. I recommend arriving early to get a good one. Fresh popcorn (in a metal bowl :D) and beverages available for a reasonable price.

Hands down the coolest movie theater I’ve ever been to. Dreamland has such a unique and intimate vibe that is hard to find anywhere else. Who I assume were the owners were super friendly and welcoming and the micro twenty some seat theater was clean, comfortable, and had tremendous sound!

I drove into Sacramento from Reno to see “2001” in 70mm at the Tower Theatre as well as “Being John Malkovich” at Dreamland later in the evening. I had a bit more time than expected between the two showings that I ended up getting a ticket to the 6pm showing of “Decoder” at Dreamaland. The impromptu double feature was a truely fantastic experience that you can only have at a theater like this.

I will make sure I come back! An amazing place!
