Alaska The Grape Tap is A locally owned and operated gem! I reserved a table for 5 to celebrate three birthdays, and we were seated in the private, underground wine cellar. The food was exceptional, and the service exceeded 5 stars. The owner even took the time to personally introduce herself, adding a special touch to the experience. If you're traveling in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. The ambiance is both quaint and charming.

An excellent restaurant that holds up to its promise of elevated dining. The tenderloin paired with a glass of 2021 Alexander Valley Cab Franc was the best steak I have ever had. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere is understated but cozy. My schnitzel took me back years to some wonderful memories. I highly recommend trying their wine flights, they are exceptionally well curated and pair well with the menu. My wife and I will absolutely be going back.

I have been waiting years to visit this wonderful gem of a restaurant, but was always passing through with no time in the schedule. I'm so glad that I finally made it happen!
The first thing that stood out was the service - a wonderfully professional and smiling hostess checked our reservation and ensured our table was ready, and we were led to our table by none other than the owner herself who seated us and shared a few ancedotes while we got comfortable. The waitstaff was on point, and we really enjoyed the excellent wine menu to choose from. We enjoyed a delicious calamari appetizer that was original and quite tasty, and then we were off and running with the entrees.
We were a group of four, and everyone enjoyed their dinner choices immensely! I will speak specifically about the lamb, because it was without a doubt - the best lamb I have had. Very flavorful, perfectly cooked, and a wonderfully subtle sauce that complemented the dish seamlessly!
No desserts for us, just great conversation and a lovely bottle of Zinfandel.
Highly recommend, and will return!

Had the white wine flight w appetizers, everything was amazing. We love the atmosphere, the dates & wedge salad is a must. We ordered the charcuterie board & brie (just order the charcuterie ?).

Great place to come w your girlfriends or date night! Never disappointed ♥️?

My husband is in a wheelchair and we had reservations on a Saturday night and it was wonderful! Very accommodating to our needs! I cannot say enough about the food. We were a group of four and ordered a variety of things and honestly everything was outstanding. Looking forward to going back!

Best restaurant in Alaska. This is my go to for date night, girls night, anniversary, birthday.. I can honestly always think of a reason the eat at The Grape Tap. I have many favorites but you have to try the Pork Schnitzel! Best wine selection as well and the staff is so knowledgeable and always willing to help with suggestions. I LOVE this place!
