The Overland - Redlands, California

I want to warn others about the deceptive parking situation at The Overland in Redlands. My loved one’s vehicle was towed because of a poorly marked 2-hour parking restriction that is easy to miss. The sign is small, difficult to see, and placed in only one location, making it far from obvious to drivers.

As a result, the car was towed, and we were hit with an outrageous $660 fine to get it released. This feels incredibly predatory, as it seems designed to trap unsuspecting customers and visitors.

I strongly urge management to improve signage or at least work with the towing company to ensure fair treatment of those who park here. Until then, be extremely cautious if you park in this lot—it could cost you hundreds of dollars!

I'm extremely disappointed with The Overland in Redlands. My loved one's car was unfairly towed due to their poorly marked "The Overland only Parking" signs. When we confronted them about it, they completely denied any responsibility that their signs were difficult to see. However, just a few days later, they suddenly upgraded their signage--making it clear they knew the original signs were inadequate.

If they had no fault in the matter, why the sudden change? This feels like a shady attempt to cover up their mistake instead of taking accountability for the inconvenience and stress they caused. A responsible business would have admitted their error and worked to make things right, rather than shifting blame. If you're visiting, be extra cautious--because if something unfair happens to you, don't expect them to take responsibility.

Stopped in for drinks before dinner down the street - absolutely fantastic cocktails. Inventive, not pretentious, and great flavors. The Ghost ship was our favorite! We were in from LA and can't wait to go back!!

This place was really great, I was in the mood for some jazzy music and a drink. This establishment provided everything I was looking for and more, a very elegant place. I tried this mass psyche, it was a vitalizing expression of the creativity of the tender at the bar.
Noah said he enjoys being creative and loves what he gets to do. this was a relaxed, elegant place perfect for a night out with your sweet heart, a date, or just a great place for awesome conversations, drinks /food and to just relax after a day of work or play

What a cool place. Food was amazing and drinks were a perfect compliment to the culinary delights. The best part is the great atmosphere and beautiful Redlands old town. A must stop for anyone who lives or is driving through in Redlands. We had a great time!

Run, don't walk to this incredible location! It's small and intimate inside, but they have quite a spacious outdoor dining area. They had misters going outside due to this awful heatwave, but we opted to sit inside to beat the heat. The ambiance is incredible, with incredible details from the wall of vinyls to the beautiful plants. The drinks are are unique and delicious, with unique twists to keep you on your toes. We tried the truffle fries and the truffle fries, both delicious. But I don't have enough words to explain how delicious the focaccia mushroom pizza is. I'm already daydreaming about going back! Please go check them out!

Everyone should be made aware of their terrible parking situation. I accidentally parked in their lot with very poor signage (pictures are in a review from another user in the same situation as me) and got my car towed and was left standing alone in a dark parking lot on a rainy Friday night and with an outrageous fee to get my car back (that they had for less than half an hour). Overland is calling tow trucks for people parking wrong instead of putting up proper signs or having someone there telling people not to park there (they have a person there calling a tow truck). This is wrong and predatory and I will not be going back to Overland ever again and I will be telling others as well.

It has a fantastic atmosphere with cocktails and music to match! It's worth a stop to sit and enjoy a cocktail or two, and whatever vinyl happens to be spinning

The 2 drinks we had here were delicious. The good ol whiskey sour with a beautiful dried citrus slice. The red beverage is called the Land O' Dreams, the taste is somewhat similar to a piñacolada. We skipped out on any food since we had just eaten. But the atmosphere is nice, there's outside seating as well.
