Stopped in here to warm up and ended up having a highlight of our trip to Idylwild talking to the bartender Marcus about everything from science to real estate to mixology. His mulled wine was awesome, were his fun facts. The kids loved hanging out and having hot chocolate with marshmallows they could put in themselves. Lucky to also have enjoyed the two for once popcorn deal for National Popcorn Day. Whether or not you come for the movies, it's a great spot to enjoy some reasonably priced food and drink and the congenial hospitality of Idylwild!

This has got to be the best kept secret in idyllwild. We've lived here 5 years and just recently visited there for a movie and this theater is the nicest and most comfortable I've ever been to BY FAR! And you can sip your wine while viewing! Amazing

We live in Palm Desert and my kids wanted to check this place out while we hung out in Idyllwild. I’m So glad we did. Very clean, cool place, the owners (I’m assuming) were super nice and welcoming we will definitely be back.
Oh and they have freaking blankets for you to use while watching the movie in case you get cold. Overall amazing cool authentic place with nice little bar.

New seat , everything you need for a perfect movie. Popcorn , food, Drinks ( Alcohol or non-alcohol drinks) & clean blankets if needed.
They also have comedy night and variety of show's... Love it!! Very friendly staff!!

Great place to spend some of your Idyll time. They open midday and sell alcoholic drinks, beers, seltzers, wine, mimosas, etc. They have candy and popcorn. All with good prices. The movie system is top notch. The seats are big with a lot of room. Large armrests. No sharing those! They also have comedy shows. The owners are great and love chatting about all things movies, rustic and old school. They have outside seating. Get a drink or two and chill while the wife shops.

I wasn't in the mood for a movie but because of a great conversation with the owners, I wanted to support their business. Very clean and neat atmosphere. Lovely theater.
