Es un lugar para disfrutar lo que ofrecen y comer muy bien

There is so much to love about this property - the grounds are beautiful; the rooms are luxurious and thoughtfully designed while still being comfortable. Every meal we had was perfect - far better than anywhere else we ate in town. But the best part of Mattie's Tavern was the staff. We felt right at home the minute we arrived, being greeted by Shawn, escorted around the property by Andrew and warmly welcomed by Billy. You just feel happy being here. You will also have the best night's sleep - we loved the bed so much we are purchasing the same mattress. Whatever kinks the hotel had after opening, they have all been worked out because we had a flawless experience and can't wait to come back!

Wow. WOW!!!! This was just the most magical stay. Started with being greeted by Sean the bellman. Honestly, he made the trip. His energy and love for his job showed in every interaction. Rainy day? No problem. He had an amazing excitement that was infectious. Helped us plan fun days, had great recommendations, and was always nearby to offer us a Hot Toddy!!||The rooms are spectacular and the fire pits throughout the property make it romantic and cozy no matter the weather. We enjoyed drinks and dinner at the Tavern - the burger is divine! And the Matteis Tavern hot sauce we should have bought a case of. Ended every night with a cocktail by the fire. Make sure to go to the olive oil class or the property tour is your dates align!||When the sad time came and checkout was upon us, Serenity and Austin were very helpful and got us on our way, ensuring we would definitely be coming back!!||Great stay, lovely town, could walk everywhere, can’t wait to return.

Casual yet elegant hotel just a short walk from the down town area. Although it was hard to locate the office upon arrival it was easy to navigate the small cottages throughout the property once we got there. Our cottage was nicely appointed, casual and comfortable. We had massages in their new facility, which was relaxing, albeit a bit pricey. Room rate also pricey but for a special occasion we felt it was worth it. Although they advertise lots of activities none were scheduled for the 2 1/2 days we were there. Perhaps it’s better when the weather is warmer. The check in process was both on line and in person, and redundant. Despite not doing any activities we had to sign waivers. And although they said a staff member would help make reservations, when I tried to do that before arrival I was told I had to contact their restaurant directly myself. The on site restaurant was great, we had dinner and breakfast there, as well as room service. Meals were good, quantity of food reasonable and cost surprisingly moderate.

Get ready to feel welcomed when you check-in. Service was very congenial and friendly. I just felt my shoulders drop when we pulled in. The rooms are perfection! The interior design, quality products and hardware - so great! || The beds, pillows and mattress are outstanding for a wonderful night's rest. Each room has an outdoor patio with firepit and comfortable chairs. Bathroom is very well appointed - quality hairdryer too. Steamer provided. Don't overlook the onsite activities, Historic Walking Tour, Yoga, Olive Oil Infusion, etc. Such nice touches, like the treat at your bedside each night (lavender bouquet, cookies). Walking through Los Olivios was a treat, so many places where you can sample wine or meander around and shop - try Le Cote Bar for dinner. Head over to their hotel coffee bar for a great latte or you can use the Nespresso Maker in your rooms. Looking forward to a return visit.

My sister and I came here tonight while vacationing in Los Olivos. We were fortunate to have David as our server. He made thoughtful recommendations, was generous with his time, and checked in often throughout our meal. The entire experience was perfection.

The property overall is very lovely. The grounds a very well kept and the cottages and suites make it feel very homey and welcoming. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, especially the front desk. The interior of the rooms are very well designed and spacious. The only downside which is a big one for us is the onsite restaurant. The food was extremely disappointing. We heard many great things but it appears there was a change in chefs and it’s since gone downhill. We couldn’t finish our food unfortunately. The restaurant setting has so much potential. If the food was on the same level as the rest of the resort then I would highly recommend visiting.

This was our second trip to Mattei's Tavern and the hotel never disappoints. || The bed was so comfortable and the room had everything we needed. There is a cozy fireplace inside and a great firepit outside of your room. The grounds are beautiful grounds and the restaurant was great. Walking distance to everything in Los Olivos.
