Came here on the fly day trip. And Issac was great!! He was sweet and the energy and vibe was great! I've never been here before but oldest gay bar in Costa mesa I would 100% resturn!!
It's gay friendly and overall friendly!!

First time here and was not impressed. Bouncer gave some weird vibes and bartender was rude. I don't think they're fond of Native Americans or Hispanics. My partner and I felt very unwelcome being a gay couple in a place that’s supposed to be a safe place for us. But we didn’t let it ruin our NYE. We just simply walked out after our first drink then went to FH.

i’ve always loved coming to this bar as it’s one of very few LGBTQ+ spaces in orange county! usually there’s no issue, the bartenders are always so nice as well as the bouncers! i had a very uncomfortable and strange experience this past weekend however. i came in with my boyfriend for a drink, we hung out for a while and just stood near the entrance area as the bar was quite packed. he’s tall and lightly tapped the disco ball next to his head once or maybe even twice (when i say tapped i mean like barely even touched it, not being dramatic) suddenly one of the bouncers angrily comes up to us and nearly yelling tells him to leave and points at me and says “you too, OUT” i was extremely taken aback and didn’t want to disrespect the space but i did tell the bouncer that i hoped he also kicked out the white patron who was very aggressively tapping the other disco ball in the bar to the point that it was swinging, he angrily replied that he was watching him and that that wasn’t what happened, basically making me feel crazy and then kicked us out of the bar. i unfortunately see that reviews for this bar from other patrons show that they’ve been made to feel uncomfortable on the basis of them being latino, i don’t want to point a finger like that but my boyfriend and i are both latino men so correlation may be showing here. overall i was very disappointed and as someone who works in the hospitality industry, i feel this could’ve been much better handled by simply telling us politely that touching the disco balls is not allowed. we were not drunk, being sloppy or crazy at all and simply minding our space and sadly i feel uncomfortable to return to this bar that i’ve really loved for years.

It's a gay bar. Not a lot of options for that. A nice little bar, there's a patio. They do drag bingo once a month. The inside is loud, the patio is not.

This is the first time I've been to a gay bar. It was a good experience. It's a lively atmosphere. The people running the music seem to have blessed music taste. Nice place to chill on a Wednesday. No food. Professional staff. Good service. I will say, however, the restroom was tiny and didn't look wheelchair accessible. It had a very skinny door.

I have always seen this little saloon every time I come to get my tire needs met. Always curious and didn’t realize it was a gay bar! Even cooler! I came in on a Tuesday evening so I wasn’t expecting any crowds. Very friendly bartender and a few patrons came right after me.
One of the most comfortable bars I’ve ever been to. I would like to come on a busier night for an additional review!

Sarah is a good bartender who tries to get to everyone as soon as possible either at the bar or at bar tables. Kind of small and in a hidden location.
