Uno de los sitios más típicos de Saint Louis con unas hamburguesas excelentes. Ofrecen la opción de cambiar la carne de ternera por bisonte, lo que es una grata novedad. Inmejorable atención de los camareros

Great joint for a gathering, with good food and good (but not overbearing) service.

The menu while fairly limited, featured all the classics (salads, burgers - incl grass fed and bison, chicken sandwiches - grilled and fried, pulled pork, wings, strips, meatball sandwich, fish and chips, etc) some classics not always found elsewhere (Cuban and tenderloin). It also featured a solitary entree, grilled salmon. I had the tenderloin, and it was among the best I've ever had. Portion size was good among all of our dishes, and we found it to be a good value.

I'd never been to this location, before. Sure, there's your typical sports memorabilia, with a lot of local sports emphasis, but, as a self-proclaimed train nerd, I really enjoyed the atmosphere, like the old Bowling Green station sign, lanterns, and such, that were mixed throughout. Loved the caboose (and, to be honest was somewhat disappointed that we couldn't sit in there - but, also to be honest, I'm the only one who would have liked that!). The only reason I didn't give 5 stars on the Atmosphere is because many of the tables have what seem to be tray cut-outs, and a few people in our party (not me, surprisingly) had spills, or near-misses with their glasses...

We came with a group of about 20 people, and we're seated at several independent tables in the back room. This was perfect. It facilitated good conversation it smaller units. While the menu indicated a caveat for assigning a tip for groups, this was not done, and we were able to select our own tips. The waitress passed around the card device, allowing us to easily settle our bills.

Continuing my quest to find the best burger in St. Louis, I made my way to the Trainwreck Saloon. I was told about this place by a friend who spent many, many hours at this establishment and about her many stories about beer, friends, and burgers. So tonight I thought, Let me go try this place. Wandering in I was immediately in a well-lit bar area. A friendly waitress asked where I would like to sit. Choosing a seat that reminded me of a church pew, I settled in to have dinner and watch some sort of sports ball on the TV. After ordering two different appetizers, fried pickles and South West egg rolls, I can say without hesitation that both were delicious. Washed down with an Irish red beer, I was all set for the evening until my tavern burger arrived. A wonderful bison burger with fried pickles, French onion, and cheddar cheese was definitely a good burger. I sat there admiring it for longer than was necessary and then took a wonderful first bite. The bison patty was the perfect medium rare, the cheese melted over everything, and the pickles and onions added a little bit of sweetness. I ended up finishing way too fast, which is always a problem. And soon I was out the door, ready to find the next burger in St. Louis.

We have lived in Brentwood for five years and frequent very often. Last night I tried the Brisket sliders and chicken tortilla soup and both were AMAZING! I don't often get brisket because it can be hit or miss at most places. It was so tender and delicious! The chicken tortilla soup did not have corn or beans so I was excited to try. Sure glad I did! Can't wait to have the same dinner another night! Sara took great care of us!

This is a bar and grill... But the food is wonderful... Waaaaaay above average!
I had a cup of the stuffed green pepper soup and it was delicious. I took some home. Also had the "wrecked" wings... They were also fabulous... The seasoning was perfect, they were crispy outside and juicy inside. I got a dipping sauce for them but they were so good without the extra sauce.
The service was perfect... Cindy kept her eye on us, filled our drinks when needed and didn't hover over us interrupting our conversation like other places. The food was delivered promptly and hot.
I'll certainly go again next time I'm up in St Louis!!

I recently had the opportunity to dine at Trainwreck Saloon and wanted to share my thoughts on their food, specifically the Mexican raviolis and the bacon cheddar BBQ bison burger with seasoned fries.

Let's start with the Mexican raviolis as the appetizer. They were a unique twist on traditional ravioli, filled with nacho cheese that melted into a delightful gooey texture. The accompanying sauce, which seemed to be a sour cream base mixed with salsa, provided a tangy and spicy kick. It was certainly an interesting choice for a stoner snack and I found it to be quite enjoyable.

Moving on to the main course, I opted for the bacon cheddar BBQ bison burger with seasoned fries. While the seasoned fries were exceptional and unlike any I've had before, the burger itself left much to be desired. Unfortunately, the burger was smothered in what appeared to be canned cheddar with a paste like appearance/texture which they referred to as "soft cheddar." The cheddar paste taste overwhelmed the overall flavor and left me feeling a bit queasy. The excessive amount of cheddar paste also made the burger feel heavy and unappetizing.

Overall, my experience at Trainwreck Saloon was a mixed bag. While the Mexican raviolis were a tasty and unique starter, the bacon cheddar BBQ bison burger fell short due to the overpowering cheddar paste. However, I can confidently say that their seasoned fries were outstanding and worth trying…

Laura warmly greeted us, as soon as arrived. The barbecue pulled pork nachos were delicious! They are billed as an appetizer, but in actuality, they suffice as an entree! Very generous portion of the pulled pork, very moist and very tender. Our server Laura was very attentive. It was quite apparent to us that Laura was genuinely invested in our Trainwreck dining experience.
