OMGoodness, we had the best time visiting Valensin Winery today!!! The David Perez Band was playing here today, and we wanted to check them out, and so best of both worlds, we also got to check out some new wines. They don't do tastings during events, so we arrived early so we could have the opportunity to try the wines and see which one we would want to sip on while we listened to the music. My husband ordered the "Today's Tasting", and I ordered the "Sparkling Tasting". Very nice wines! Then I decided to order a glass of their Chardonnay, and my husband got the Sirah. I really liked the Chardonnay so we bought a bottle to drink for the music. The whole Vinyard is just absolutely beautiful, the weather was perfect and we had such a wonderful time! There were only 2 people that I could see that were working, and there were so many people, but they held it down. It was just excellent! They were both so friendly and welcoming, and they were just awesome! The lady, Michelle, was just so sweet, I forgot to ask the gentleman's name, but he was so nice, and we really enjoyed them, and they put on a great event! We couldn't stop smiling! I'm looking forward to going back and bringing some friends and family. The water, the sunset, the music... what an awesome vibe! They have peddle boats and paddle boarding, too... we're gonna be prepared for that next time... I can't wait!!!

This was our first visit to the winery. The live music was stellar. Food truck was delicious. View....stunning. We did a tasting and then a glass of different wines to try afterwards. I tried a wine slushie (peach was all they had) and it was good, not too sweet. Cant wait to return!

With its large paddle boat capable oval lake with two small islands and surrounding walking path along the vineyard, views of the Sierra Nevada mountains to the east, umbrella shaded picnic tables or beach side lounge seating with fire pit or gas lamp heated table seating on the deck, live music, food truck dining, and its own branded "The Plunge" wines, this relaxing wine tasting vineyard is an enjoyable place to spend a couple hours with one's spouse or small group of friends. We've been here twice within the past couple weeks and plan to visit again soon. Favorite is the Peach Mango Sparkling wine. Also joined their wine club.

What an absolute beautiful spot, a little slice of heaven. Wine was delicious, but let me tell you that the wine slushy was out of this world. The lake/beach area was clean and was such a great spot to sit and catch up with friends and family, or meet and make new friends. Fun evening with music, we will for sure be back to just walk the grounds and hang out with a glass of wine.

Really interesting experience. Did not expect such a creative venue for a winery. Was on an artificial ski lake which you could rent paddle boats. Has a beach as well! One thing disappointing was the fact that we apparently needed a reservation which was not indicated on Google anywhere. We did get to order wines by the glass at the "lake" as the young server found a small table for us. She was sweet and let us try a couple of pours!! I would recommend this place for a small group setting and maybe a date!! They have many sparkling, sweet wines and I think women would love it. So women's groups should feel right at home.

Excuse me, but what a vibe!!

I attended the women's history month event with my girlfriend for a girls day.

We were not let down at all! So peaceful, so amazing, so picture perfect.

You will feel like a VIP with a bottle of wine, lounging by the lake in an adirondack chairs, and a light spring breeze.

The wine was delicious and fresh. I wasn't for the sweet wines but yes for the Sauv.

Nice setting alongside the manmade pond and simple deck. The wines are nice but the tasting came in plastic wine glasses and I think that really took away from the real taste of the wines. Not to mention the tasting pours looked very light handed in the large tasting glasses. Maybe get a smaller tasting glass too. But if you buy a bottle you can get real glasses so that’s a bonus. We did a bottle of the Barbara it was the nicest of the reds and for the sparking I loved the pomegranate sparking- I am usually not a sparkling guy but this one was so juicy and fresh I loved it.

Overall a special and different kind of winery so why not try a wine you wouldn’t traditionally try? This is the place.

Edit: great time yesterday wine tasting elsewhere. Here, owner didn't seem to be aware of sub par service in her response. But she'll rebuke that. Hmmm. 4 to 5 stars in all my reviews except here. That speaks volumes. Expect additional negative reply from her. Won't surprise me. I won't look for invalid response. Spend time elsewhere where wine is better and service friendly. I shouldn't have used b word implication. My bad. I should have just said lousy service. Old: Wine tasting today was good at 3 other venues. Valinsin rates low. The manager who says she is owner was extremely rushed with us (members) and refused to listen to our concerns. The rest of the staff were wonderful. Try Adkins or Christopher cellars if you appreciate great Wine and friendly management. We are canceling Valesin. More than once this manager has been basically a b.
