I left a 30% tip because the service was that great! Everyone seems genuinely caring, which is rare to see at a restaurant. I’ve never felt more comfortable at a kbbq place. Food is good. (The premium pork belly really did taste premium) Cost is cheap. Very spacious and clean. All customers there were really respectful. Highly recommend! I will be visiting each time I go to LA.

We were looking for an option in Koreatown on the weekend but a couple other places we usually go had lines out the door. Finally settled on trying Woo Hyang Woo. I think it had it had just opened so we were able to easily grab a table. It was odd to see the marked difference in service between other tables and ours. Since we spoke Korean and just ordered entrees instead of going with a full table BBQ, they put a lot more effort to engage with the European tourists because they were probably spending four times more on BBQ platters. Their cuts of beef looked marbled and sourced with quality. The galbi was decent; flavorful and sweetly marinated but a bit tough and chewy. They did not have galbitang prepared so they offered hot beef noodles with rice vermicelli noodles. Banchan was solid and fresh. The food was mostly good. I suppose what lingers is the bar-like service and ambience of the restaurant. It is probably a late night BBQ and soju spot and the dinner experience is probably better at this place. If you are having a hard time getting a table on the weekend, this place might be a good walk-in option.

Woo Hyang Woo is a gem in the heart of Koreatown! Even on a busy Saturday night, we got seated immediately. We went for the brisket special and char pork ribs. The brisket was decent, but the ribs stole the show—served on a sizzling plate and packed with incredible flavor. I could seriously eat this every day! Plus, you get unlimited soybean soup, all for just $24. Amazing deal! The service was top-notch too. Highly recommend!

Very nice place. Dark ambience. I liked the food, and while the servers were friendly, they helped us with changing out the grill, and made good suggestions. But on a technical matter, the staff seemed to have trouble transferring things off the wax paper onto the grill. Some pieces occasionally fell off onto the table. But otherwise, food was really good.

TJ & Kim. SAY LESS. The food here is amazing and the hosts/waiters are even better. I always believe in great customer service/hospitality can make or break your experience at a restaurant. 100% recommend this place!!!!!
