Not much has changed in 20 years. We waited for the main act, it was not specified when, so we left after 3hrs listening to little DJ parties of about 5ish people supporting their DJs (some of them fairly good). You can only intake as much of watered down cocktails. Overall, not a great experience.

This is one of the if not THE best nightclub in San Francisco. They always have the best talent, showcasing local artists along with really good international DJs. The staff is always really helpful, receptive, kind, just so on top of it. With the upstairs and downstairs room you have plenty of options to move around which I personally love. The main room definitely gets PACKED so be prepared for those sweaty body-to-body kind of nights. Not to mention the sound system is just top tier. I’ve truly never had a bad night at 1015.

This place doesn’t serve food… It’s a club obviously. Multiple DJs on busy nights, easy to get a drink at the well tenant bar, some of the employees there are super enthusiastic and fun.

I live in SoMa and I’ve been coming here for years. Absolutely love this spot! There are three levels (the third is VIP) and it’s so fun. Friday nights are my favorite. They usually feature a popular DJ (last time I saw Austin Millz)

When I’m with friends that want a more chill experience and sit down, we get VIP so you’re up on the highest level looking over the stage. It’s so cool with sofas and lounges.

Definitely a fun spot to go to!

The security staff are unprofessional and overly authoritative, creating an unwelcoming environment. Instead of ensuring safety with professionalism and respect, they seem more focused on exerting power over others. Their condescending attitude and lack of courtesy make for a frustrating and unpleasant experience.

Very old and classic club. Lots of space - including a usually less crowded space upstairs. Really good sound. Bare bones decor and service, as befits a historic club. None of the table service BS you get at more upscale joints.

Went to see the Miss Bashful show on January 23, 2025. Mind you, I have been coming here with my wife since 2021, and I have never had ANY issues with security and the people at this club. But Unfortunately the other night was handled absolutely unprofessionally by the security staff. The security staff did nothing but flex their power at the club after they saw a woman assault me by slapping my face 5 times and pulling my hair to slap me. After being assaulted by some random club patron because I wanted to go back to my group that was close by the rails that are across from the bar on the main floor, security came and put theirs hands all over me.

There was an Asian Security guy, who talks and acts black for some reason, who wanted to not only put me in a full Nelson and assault me, but he got in my face multiple times and almost SWUNG on me. I had to blow my cigarette smoke in this security guards face so that he would back up from me, and my personal space. You shouldn’t be a security guard if you let the people you’re supposed to secure get to you like that. It’s weak minded behavior.

The security here are an absolute joke, DO NOT COME TO THIS CLUB, DO BOT GO TO CLUB 1015 if you and your party get into any situation; it doesn’t matter what, if it’s ANY situation where security gets involved, security will ABUSE YOU, and BEAT YOU. After they told me to leave I said I needed to get my jacket from coat check, and that is when all hell broke loose, they took their opportunity to flex their rent a cop muscles and I had 6-8 security people shoving me, pulling, kicking, and bruising me by grabbing me extremely tight. Here are my photos as well, and I’ll even add that my wife and I met Miss Bashful before the set started. I hope she finds out about this too.

I came back to Club 1015, and SF from out of state after MONTHS of planning with my wife and friends just to get kicked out because I told some club patrons to please move and didn’t tolerate getting my face SLAPPED and my hair PULLED then I get assaulted and beaten by the security. I used to live in the Bay, and I never knew how terrifying, and terrible this club turned out to be in 2025. Bad club, bad security that is egotistical and entitled and some pretty corny patrons who can’t let situations GO. Hope this place closes soon.
