This isn't some fancy corporate-run theatre; this is a community staple! I have been coming to The Grandin since I was 5.

They host small meetings, and corporate events and even have touring bands. Their movie selection is diverse, from the newest movies - to their Horror Film Festival (We got to see The Shinning on the big screen - It was a treat!)

Before putting your money into some corporations profit, give The Grandin a chance, Stop by Pops for some Ice Cream or the Village Grill grab a bite to eat, and go watch a movie afterward!

We love The Grandin Theatre. Always like going here and the nostalgic atmosphere takes me back to my younger days. Staff is super friendly and the venue is clean and inviting. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!!

I was born and raised in Roanoke, VA., and The Grandin has always been a staple as far as a "movie spot" goes. My first time visiting to see a music show at this lovely venue was on 05/16/24 to see a band by the name of "Gangstagrass", and it was freghin' RAD. Great vibes, small, comfortable venue, friendly employees.....just top-notch all the way around. Great job, guys and gals!!

This theater is SO so neat! Friendly people, and good popcorn. We saw our movie in one of the smaller rooms upstairs but the larger room was open and we peaked in there after our movie. WOW, what a room. Lots of history here, we really enjoyed it. I especially liked the bathroom floor (hence the photo). Highly recommend it.

This place is an absolute gem. My wife and I had our first date here in 2014 & it's still one of our favorite places to go. The Grandin is an excellent venue for films and live music as well (the Palmyra show in particular was ?!)

Ticket & concession prices are extremely reasonable, making this one of the few affordable options for our family of 6. Thank y'all for doing what you do! ❤️

Wonderful experience overall. The quartet was energetic and engaging. The music was spectacular. Going back for the Coldplay show!
